Cooking class on Milos

Milos guide to eating, ouzo and other Greek deliciousness

Milos certainly has a very good selection of tavernas and bars, spread over the island. We have stayed out in Pollonia both times we've visited Milos and although it's a small port settlement, it offers a great array of food and drink options.

Gialos, Pollonia

The best taverna in Pollonia, in our opinion. The staff are friendly and the owner is always ready to have a chat. We've eaten a few times at Gialos and have not been disappointed, the food is delicious and fresh.

Ammos, Pollonia

Kivolos, Pollonia

Kivolos is a foodie treasure chest full of local Melian deliciousness. They offer freshly baked pastries and cakes in their shop as well as deli items like cheeses and cold meats. You can eat in and sit in their garden while enjoying your breakfast, lunch or coffee.

En Plo, Plaka

We've had breakfast and evening drinks at En Plo.

The terrace is lovely, sit out there looking across the island is very relaxing.

Firstly, the coffee is OK, just.
